The Lifestyle Distribution GmbH, Raboisen 38, 20095 Hamburg, District Court (Amtsgericht) of Hamburg-Mitte, Companies’ Register number HRB 165195 provides contents and services under the domain As the Lifestyle Distribution GmbH (in the following referred to as Provider) also processes personal data in the framework of the digital offers, it shall be explained in this declaration how personal data are treated within the framework of use of the website (in the following referred to as Website).

We offer different possibilities on our website to get in contact with us or to receive information from us.

a. Contacting per email or via the contact form

If you contact us via a contact form or per email, we store the email communication until your request or the use has been completed, in order to respond to questions and to document the communication. To the extent that retention obligations under business law (6 years starting with the end of the year in which the operation was completed) or retention periods under tax law (10 years starting with the end of the year the operation was completed) exist, the data is stored after execution of your request and we restrict processing, if any.

4. Usage analysis for statistical purposes - Google Analytics

In order to optimize our website, to correct sources of error and to find out how visitors use the offer and in which period of time which parts were used, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. Google uses cookies to allow to analyse how you use the website.

6. Data Protection Provisions regarding the Use and Utilization of AddThis

The controller responsible for the processing has integrated components of the company AddThis on this website. AddThis is a so-called bookmarking provider. The service allows a simplified bookmarking of websites via buttons. By moving the mouse over the AddThis component or by clicking on it with the mouse, a list of bookmarking and sharing services is displayed. AddThis is used on more than 15 million websites and the buttons are displayed over 20 billion times per year according to the provider company.

The provider company of AddThis is the Company AddThis, Inc. 1595 Spring Hill Road, Suite 300, Vienna, VA 22182, USA.

Each time a single page of this website, which is operated by the controller responsible for the processing and in which an AddThis component is integrated, is called up, the internet browser on the IT-system of the data subject is automatically caused to download data from the website through the respective AddThis component. Within the framework of this technical procedure, AddThis gains knowledge of the visit and on the fact which specific single page of this website  is used by the IT system used by the data subject. Moreover, AddThis gains knowledge on the IP address of the computer system of the data subject, assigned by the internet service provider (ISP), the type o browser, the browser language, the website called up prior to our website as well as the time of the visit of our website. AddThis uses this data to create anonymized user profiles. The data and information transmitted to AddThis this way enable the company AddThis itself as well as the affiliated companies of AddThis or its partner companies to directly address visitors of the websites of the controller responsible for the processing with personalized and interest-related advertising.

AddThis displays personalised and interest-based advertisement based on a cookie set by the company. This cookie analyses the individual surfing behaviour of the IT-system used by the data subject. The cookie stores the visits of the websites originating from the computer system.

The data subject may prevent the placement of cookies through our website, as described above, at any time by making a respective setting in the internet browser used and thereby permanently objects to the placement of cookies. Different functions of the website are linked to other providers, such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, Twitter, via graphics that do not transmit any data to social networks in the first place. If you click on this graphics as user, you thereby activate the link to the chosen social network and then transfer your information to the social network.

If you click on the Facebook graphics (pictogram with “f”), you convey to your Facebook network (Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Irland) that you like a contribution on our page.
